Misericordia University Students Earn National Honors at FBLA Collegiate National Leadership Conference

Top-10 Finishes and Professional Communications Certification Highlight Students' Success

DALLAS, Pa. — Misericordia University students Dylan Ramirez and Deven Hazlak earned national recognition at the FBLA Collegiate National Leadership Conference, bringing home top-10 finishes in their respective competitive events while also earning a professional communications certification.

Ramirez placed ninth in the nation in Foundations of Hospitality Management, while Hazlak earned a sixth-place national finish in Foundations of Entrepreneurship, competing against collegiate business students from across the country.

In addition to their competitive success, Ramirez and Hazlak were recognized for successfully completing the Southwest Airlines Professional Communications Certificate Program, an industry-recognized credential that demonstrates proficiency in professional communication and workplace readiness.

The FBLA Collegiate National Leadership Conference is the organization's premier annual event, bringing together collegiate members for business competitions, leadership development, educational workshops, and networking opportunities with employers and fellow students.
