Misericordia University Welcomes New Faculty for 2025-26 Academic Year

DALLAS, Pa — Misericordia University is pleased to announce the addition of eight new faculty members across several academic disciplines for the 2025-26 academic year.

Joining the Department of Biology is Adrienne Zulkoski. The Social Work program welcomes Mary Kay Pivovarnik, while the Accounting program adds Gary Karnish to its faculty. In Teacher Education, Susan Higley has been appointed, and the Nursing program welcomes Alexis Kohler Falzone and Timothy Race.

The Speech-Language Pathology program strengthens its faculty with the addition of Nicholos Barone and Melissa Alunni.

These new hires reflect Misericordia’s continued commitment to academic excellence and providing students with access to accomplished faculty mentors dedicated to teaching, scholarship, and service.
