High School Students Explore STEM and Psychology Fields at Misericordia University

DALLAS, PA — Misericordia University welcomed high school students from across the region on March 13, 2026, for its annual STEM and Psychology Day, offering an engaging, hands-on introduction to the university’s academic programs in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and psychology.

The event provided prospective students with the opportunity to explore a variety of disciplines through interactive sessions led by Misericordia faculty. Participants attended workshops and demonstrations in areas such as biology, chemistry, computer science, data science, environmental studies, mathematics, and psychology, gaining insight into both classroom experiences and real-world applications.

 

Prior to the event, attendees worked with the university’s admissions team to customize their schedules, allowing them to focus on sessions aligned with their academic interests and career goals. Throughout the day, faculty members shared their expertise and highlighted research opportunities, internships, and career pathways available within each field.

STEM and Psychology Day reflects Misericordia’s continued commitment to experiential learning and student-centered education.
