Social Work Program Celebrates Graduates at Annual Honors Brunch

DALLAS, PA - Misericordia University's Department of Social Work hosted its annual Social Work Honors Brunch on Sunday, April 13, celebrating the achievements of graduating seniors and recognizing their dedication to service and advocacy.

Held on campus, the event brought together graduates, faculty, and family members for a special pinning and awards ceremony. The program highlights the accomplishments of students in the Bachelor of Social Work program and marks their transition into the professional field.

This year's brunch also welcomed guest speaker Jennifer Warabak, Executive Director of the Commission on Economic Opportunity and a 2002 graduate of Misericordia's BSW program. Warabak's presence offered a meaningful connection between past and present generations of social work professionals.

The Honors Brunch continues to be a beloved tradition of celebrating students' hard work, academic success, and commitment to the values of compassion, justice, and community that define the social work profession.
