Teacher Education Majors Receive Student Teaching Assignments

Teacher Education Majors Receive Student Teaching Assignments
Student Teachers Fall 2020

Misericordia University teacher education majors recently received their student teaching assignments for the fall semester during the Student Teaching Seminar. Six student teachers participated in the program, which prepares the undergraduates for classroom observation and instruction in several regional school districts.

The Teacher Education Department at Misericordia University requires student teachers to observe student instruction in the classroom as part of their educational and professional experience. Students spend the school day in their assigned classroom, observing at first and then instructing the classes.

The following students received assignments to regional school districts: Alana Boyles of Clarks Summit, ABC Kiddie Kampus; Tritan Cragle of Hunlock Creek, Wilkes-Barre Area; Maryjo Dickinson of Dalton, Day Dreamers Preschool; Katheryn Gromacki of Middletown, New York, Delaware Valley; Raegan Mahoney of Mechanicsburg, Dallas Area; Karley May of Milford, Delaware Valley.
