OT Program Outcomes

Career placement is excellent. Historically there has been, and continues to be, nearly 100% job placement for Misericordia University Occupational Therapy graduates.

Recent projections predict a healthy future for occupational therapy. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects the job rate growth to be at 12% (much faster than average) for 2022-2032.

Occupational Therapy Graduation Rates for the past 3 years are presented in the table below. Graduation rates are based upon the number of students who complete the professional phase of the OT Entry Level Weekday BS/MS Program and the OT Entry level Weekend BS/MS Program. The professional phase of the Weekday program begins at the start of the Junior (third) year and continues through the end of the Graduate (fifth) year. The professional phase of the Weekend program begins at the start of Year 1 and continues until the end of Year 3.

The total number of graduates from the Misericordia University Entry Level Master of Occupational Therapy Program during the 3-year period 2023-2025 (most current) was 116, with an overall graduation rate of 94%.

Entry Level BS/ELOTD in Occupational Therapy Program

The total number of graduates from the Misericordia University Entry Level Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program during the 3-year period 2023-2025 (most current) was 25, with an overall graduation rate of 100%.
