For first year students who have paid their reservation deposit for the Fall 2018 semester, you will need to choose your orientation date, download health forms, access housing information and provide input on your first-year schedule on the student portal. Dani Clifford is serving her second year as an Orientation Coordinator. A Junior Statistics and Sports Management Major from Minisink Valley, New York, Dani is highly involved on campus. She is a Mercy Leader, member of “Where’s The Fun,” admissions ambassador, member of the student philanthropic organization, Students Today, Alumni Forever, member of the golf and softball teams, and is an honors student. Dani holds some leadership positions as well such as the Vice President of her class and President of the Sports Management Association. Dani is interning for her second year at the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders Minor League baseball team. Dani is looking forward to traveling to Dublin, Ireland this summer for a leadership conference.
Patrick Joyce is serving his first year as an Orientation Coordinator but was an Orientation Leader for the last two years. He is a senior Middle Level Math and Social Studies Education Major from Avoca, Pennsylvania. In addition to being involved with orientation Patrick is involved on campus through the Student Activities Office. Patrick has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and he is a SOAR Leader and is Co-President of Where’s The Fun, WTF Off campus he is an assistant instructor with the Crossmolina School of Irish Dance in Scranton. He is the recipient of the Father John Bendik Scholarship Award in 2018. Patrick wishes to pursue a career in Student Activities and follow in the footsteps of his mentor, Darcy Brodmerkel.
Garrett Kolvenbach is serving as his first year as an Orientation Coordinator. He is a Business Sport Management Pre-DPT Major from Eldred, New York. Garret is a member of the golf team and a member of the Where’s the Fun team. Garret has completed and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Along with being an orientation coordinator, Garrett is working at the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders Minor League Baseball Team this summer.
Cassy Silveri is serving her first year as an Orientation Coordinator, after being Leader for the last two years. She is a senior mathematics and secondary education major from Plains, Pennsylvania. Cassy is in the honors program on campus, Co-Chair of Relay for Life, President of Active Minds Club, and an Admissions Ambassador. She is involved in a variety of clubs including Math club, Teachers Education club, Yoga club, Psychology club, SOAR program, Students Today Alumni Forever, Community Choir, and Campus Ministry. Along with being an orientation coordinator, Cassy also works as a math tutor in the student success center, in the campus bookstore, and at the Dress Lounge in Kingston. This summer, Cassy is the director of her second Vacation Bible School.
