If you're admitted to Misericordia, you and your parents/caregivers will participate in a fun-filled orientation the summer before you enroll. We'll get to know you, and you'll get to know Misericordia!
Welcome to Misericordia!!! We are excited you have chosen our community to become your community. We welcome you and your family to the #MUCougarStrong experience and it all begins with orientation 2020!
Like so many events this spring and summer, Misericordia University’s customary one day orientations, planned for June and July, have been adjusted due to complications from the COVID-19 pandemic. We are excited to announce that orientation will be enhanced, expanded and personalized throughout the summer.
We will be offering various live, interactive sessions and self-directed modules to provide many opportunities to meet students, staff and faculty starting the week of July 13th (stay tuned for more info). Over the next couple months, you will receive invitations to online modules containing important information for the transition to your collegiate experience, tours of residence halls and campus buildings and highlights featuring areas of recreation. Orientation student leaders will engage you in live events to meet fellow student class members. In addition, your families will have their own personalized sessions to meet your faculty, staff and campus leaders. Several live events will be offered to have some fun and win some cool stuff. Students, we encourage you to visit www.misericordia.edu/cougarsinthecave for updates and important links. The family communication portal will be live in mid-July.
We understand the culmination of your high school experience has come with some significant changes that you did not expect. Your community, the MU community, celebrates you! We are preparing for your arrival in the fall and look forward to getting to know you throughout the summer. Embrace your summer, stay safe and healthy and join us in becoming #MUCougarStrong!
