If you're admitted to Misericordia, you and your parents/caregivers will participate in a fun-filled orientation the summer before you enroll. We'll get to know you, and you'll get to know Misericordia!

For first year students who have paid their reservation deposit for the Fall 2019 semester, you will need to choose your orientation date, download health forms, access housing information and provide input on your first-year schedule on the student portal. Dani Clifford is serving her third and final year as an Orientation Coordinator.

She is a Senior Statistics and Sports Management double major from Minisink Valley, New York.

Dani is a student in the honors program on campus, a member of the softball team and golf team and is Vice President of Student Government Association.

She is also an active member of the philanthropic organization, Students Today, Alumni Forever, President of the Sports Management Association, a member of the “Where’s the Fun Team, an admissions ambassador and a mercy leader. Dani has also been to Dublin, Ireland for a leadership conference and just came home from a service trip in Belize.

Along with being an orientation coordinator, Dani interns with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Rail Riders Minor League baseball team.


Garrett Kolvenbach is serving as his second year as an Orientation Coordinator. He is a Junior Business Sport Management Pre DPT Major from, Eldred, New York.

Garrett is a member of the golf team and a member of the Where’s the Fun team and has earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Garrett was the Master of Ceremonies, hosting the talent show and Mr. Mis this past year.

Along with being an orientation coordinator, Garrett is working at Huntsville Golf Course as an outdoor staff member.


John Giangrieco is serving his first year as an Orientation Coordinator. He is a Junior Government and Law and National Security Major from Montrose Pennsylvania. He is an Admission Ambassador and also involved in SOAR and Operation Smile.

John often travels to Haiti for service trips where he is the main sign language translator for the deaf villages there.

Along with being a coordinator he is a waiter at Wyoming Valley Country Club and also runs his family farm back home. In his spare time he likes to take long walks in his corn fields…… by himself.


Caitlyn Coyle is serving her first year as an Orientation Coordinator. She is a Sophomore Medical and Health Humanities Pre-DPT major from Belmar, New Jersey.

Caitlyn is the Activities Coordinator for the Class of 2022, an active member of the Physical Therapy club and Arts in Medical Humanities club.

In the fall, Caitlyn will begin working as an Admissions Ambassador, as well as becoming a member of the philanthropic organization Students Today, Alumni Forever.
