Testimonials

Graduates of both offerings not only recognized their desire for a career or furthering their education to earn a Bachelor Degree, but embarked on the adventure putting forth the time and effort to be successful.

Certificate Program

“One of the comments I hear most from people who I work with or whom evaluate me is that from my images you'd never know I was only 2 years out of school. I always attribute it to my training in school and at my clinical sites. Perhaps because so many people in the Pennsylvania area are Misericordia University graduates but working out of state. I've really had the opportunity to see how image quality varies so greatly and how Misericordia University graduates really are top quality. I'm sure you already know what a great job you've done on me and all of your grads but I didn't think it would hurt to tell you again!” Graduate of 2014

“I was always told to treat my clinical as a job interview. In doing so I was offered a full time job before I graduated and started working the Monday after graduation." Class of 2012

“I felt the amount of clinical time required in the program was great. It allowed us to have a lot of hands on experience which eased my fears when I became employed. Also the information presented in the classroom was great. I felt we learned more than was required to pass the boards, but it truly helps in the workplace." Class of 2012

“This program is very intense and requires dedication and hard work. Success can be achieved by people with busy lives as long as they remain focused and ask for help when it's needed from instructors and family members- they can be your best tool for success." Class of 2013

“The graduate has been a wonderful addition to our US team! She has adapted very well to our protocols. She came to us very knowledgeable for her level of experience & has grown tremendously. She is always professional and efficient. She works well with all staff." Employer class of 2011

" I have spent quite a few years in college trying to find my path and you are one of a very few people who I can say lead not only with vision and wisdom, but also by example. We knew you didn't expect anything from us you didn't expect yourself. I have yet to meet anyone as dedicated to student's education and success as you are. The program is truly a well-rounded experience." Graduate 2016

Bachelor Degree

“My motivation for pursuing my BS was job advancement. I feel without having my BS there might someday be an opportunity that I would have possibly missed out on. I also wanted to have my BS before it became a requirement of my current job. I wanted to be able to do it at my own pace. My experience at MU was a pleasant one. I took all except one class on-line and I was able to work at my own pace. I feel I excelled in on-line classes because the classroom can sometimes be stressful, but with on-line classes, you are in the comfort of your own surroundings. The advantage of having my BS is that it was one of my personal goals and it gives me a great feeling of accomplishment. My recommendation for other sonographers is to not wait, but get it done. I feel getting my BS was easier than achieving my RDMS." BS graduate 2012

“It was a true accomplishment. Sheryl Goss is very supportive throughout the time I was completing my degree." BS student 2013
