Road Map to Success and Curriculum
If a student wishes to enroll in medical school immediately after completing their undergraduate degree, the MCAT must be taken at the end of the junior year and begin the application process in the fall of their senior year. Below is a proposed sequencing of required preparatory courses that would allow students to take their MCAT at the end of their junior year. In addition to these classes below, students must complete the coursework for the major of their choice and all core curriculum requirements for graduation.
As many students preparing for medical school take a Biology major, the pre-professional curriculum for this major is the same as the Biology BS degree curriculum.
