The core social work program faculty represent many years in both practice of social work as professionals and social work educators. The experiences of our faculty make the program strong with high academic and practice standards as prescribed by CSWE.
The baccalaureate social work program maintains a full-time equivalent faculty-to-student ratio not greater than 1:25. The faculty to student ratio is reported annually to the college administration. Faculty size remains commensurate with the number and type of curricular offerings in class and field. Program options include a traditional format program and accelerated hybrid program comprised of online and in-person classes. The department has a full-time program director/faculty, full-time field instructor/faculty as well as a full-time faculty member who serves as a field liaison for the accelerated hybrid program specifically. The department also is fortunate to have a number of adjunct instructors to teach and sharing their expertise.
