Our online graduate and undergraduate prerequisite/leveling courses are offered in flexible formats, including synchronous and asynchronous options. Asynchronous students may attend live synchronous lectures when their schedules permit, and all lecture recordings are automatically saved for later review. Students enrolled in the online graduate program have the option to fulfill their clinical practicum requirements in their local area before transitioning to fieldwork. Additionally, an on-campus summer clinical residency is offered for students who opt not to complete their practicum in their place of residence. Completion of this practicum is mandatory before advancing to fieldwork. Discounted summer housing is available on campus. If students do not have a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders/speech-language pathology, but have a bachelor’s degree in another field, they can take our undergraduate online prerequisite/leveling courses before applying to the online SLP master’s program. International students and applicants who reside outside of the U.S. must meet the requirements of the program and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) for certification, including supervision of all clinical experiences by an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist.
