Stoles:

The following stoles will be available for purchase in the Campus Store; Nursing, First Generation, and Pin stoles. All other stoles must be ordered via Herff Jones.

Graduates will receive 8 guest tickets for the Commencement Ceremony.

  • All attendees require a ticket for entry into the Commencement Ceremony.

  • Children who will occupy a seat, regardless of age, must have a ticket. If a child will be sitting on a lap a ticket is not required.

  • Extra tickets, if available, can be picked at the Campus Store Thursday, May 7th and Friday, May 8th. You may call ahead, 570-674-6271, to inquire if extra tickets are available.

Last Call, Class of 2026, 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Archie's

Last call for students, first toast as alumni. Let's raise a glass to YOU!

Your time at Misericordia University is coming to a close, and we want to celebrate everything you've accomplished and the exciting journey ahead. Join us for a lounge-style game night celebrating the Class of 2026! 

  • Mix, mingle, and play to win! Challenge your friends, alumni, faculty, and staff to trivia. Guess That Tune, bucket ball, cornhole, and more. Compete for your share of over $500 in raffle prizes throughout the night.
  • Fuel the fun. Enjoy complimentary bar bites, canned beer, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages in a relaxed atmosphere with your fellow graduates. (Must be 21+ to consume alcohol.)
  • Shop MU Alumni gear. The campus bookstore will be open from 6:00-7:00pm so you can snag your official alumni merchandise before your celebratory weekend begins.
  • Receive your exclusive graduation gift! Every graduate receives a special gift courtesy of the Misericordia University Alumni Association, available only at Last Call. Your gift will be waiting for you at the event - don't miss your chance to take it home! 
  • Join a Misericordia tradition. Make your first gift as an alum during Last Call with a $20.26 Class of 2026 gift, and make it count twice! Donors receive a bonus raffle entry (or gold ticket) for prize drawings throughout the night. Your gift supports Misericordia priorities and counts toward Class of 2026 participation, helping the next generation of students thrive.

2:30pm, Commencement Rehearsal, Anderson Sports & Health Center

A Commencement Rehearsal will be held on Friday, May 8th at 2:30pm for those receiving Master's or Doctoral Degrees. Your participation is expected. If exceptional circumstances will prevent your attendance, email kwilliams1@misericordia.edu for additional instructions.

✨ Special Surprise – your alumni journey starts NOW! The Misericordia Alumni Association is thrilled to welcome you into our outstanding network with a special graduation gift, exclusively for those who attend graduation rehearsal. Don't miss your chance to start the celebration early!

4:00pm, Baccalaureate Liturgy, Mercy Center Chapel

Graduates and families of all faiths are welcome to participate in this special liturgy which is part of our Catholic and Mercy tradition (no ticket required). Be assured that you are remembered in our prayers in a special way as you prepare for graduation. 

Parking is available in lot adjacent to the Occupational and Physical Therapy Building on campus. Academic attire is not required to be worn by graduates, and we encourage students to sit with their families.

5:00pm, A Toast to The Graduates

Graduates and their guests are invited to a Champagne Reception with light hors d'oeuvres prior to the awards ceremony. Click here to RSVP (required).

6:30pm, Awards Ceremony, Lemmond Theater

For graduates and guests. Award recipients will be notified prior to the event. No tickets are required for admission.

  • Doors of Anderson Center open at 8:30am

  • All guests must present a ticket for entry

  • Student Lineup: please report to MacDowell Hall no later than 9:00am
